Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Cheesy Italian Stromboli
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle about 12x14 inches.
  2. Layer the provolone cheese across the rolled-out dough, followed by Italian meats, and finish with mozzarella cheese, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  3. Roll the dough from one long side, pinching the edges to seal the fillings. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush the top with melted butter, sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning, and make small slits for steam to escape.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes, garnish with parsley, slice, and serve warm with marinara sauce on the side.

Roll tightly to maintain shape and prevent sogginess by making diagonal slits on top before baking. Customize your fillings for extra flavor, and avoid overfilling to make rolling easier.
