Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Separate the refrigerated biscuit dough into individual pieces and flatten each to approximately ¼ inch thick.
  4. Place about 1 tablespoon of cooled apple filling and a piece of caramel candy in the center of each biscuit.
  5. Seal the biscuit by folding the edges over the filling and rolling gently into balls.
  6. Arrange the bombs seam-side down in the prepared dish, brush tops with melted butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
