Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets 6 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method

  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  4. Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Once the butter melts, spoon the mixture over the salmon fillets.
  6. Squeeze the lemon juice over the salmon and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
