- In a large skillet, cook 6 thick-cut bacon slices over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Brush the cooked bacon with BBQ sauce and cook in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until caramelized.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and toast sandwich buns, cut side down, for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Place 1-2 slices of cheddar cheese on the toasted buns and broil for 1-2 minutes until melted.
- Assemble the sandwich by layering cheese, BBQ-glazed bacon, tomato slices, lettuce, and ranch dressing.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately while warm.
