Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Slice each Italian sub roll lengthwise to create a hinge.
  3. Melt unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to the melted butter.
  5. Brush the cut sides of each roll with the seasoned butter mixture.
  6. Layer salami, ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, and provolone in the rolls.
  7. Add roasted red peppers, olives, banana peppers, and basil leaves.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
  9. Cool for a minute before slicing with a serrated knife.
