Description

Tuna Lettuce Wraps are a quick, healthy, and delicious meal option that combines tuna salad with fresh lettuce leaves for a low-carb dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 large lettuce leaves (such as Romaine or Butter lettuce)
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, celery, red onion, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. If using, fold in the chopped dill pickles for added crunch and flavor.
  3. Rinse the lettuce leaves under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the tuna salad mixture onto the center of each lettuce leaf.
  5. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and enjoy as a fresh, low-carb meal.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of sriracha or chopped jalapeños to the tuna salad mixture.
  • Substitute Greek yogurt for half of the mayonnaise for a lighter version with added protein.
