Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives

  • 1/4 cup salsa

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. On a large baking sheet, spread the tortilla chips in an even layer.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses evenly over the chips.
  4. Scatter the black beans, diced tomato, black olives, and jalapeños over the cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
  7. Serve immediately with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add diced fresh jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce before baking.
  • You can also substitute the black beans with cooked ground beef or shredded chicken for a heartier version.
