- 3 cups fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the peaches are well coated.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Pour half of the barbecue sauce over the chicken, spreading it evenly.
- Arrange the seasoned peaches around the chicken in the baking dish.
- Drizzle the remaining barbecue sauce over the peaches and chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the peaches are tender.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.

- For added flavor, marinate the chicken in barbecue sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Substitute peaches with other fruits like pineapple or mango for a different twist.
