- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, ginger, lime juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Let the shrimp marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, add the marinated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
- Remove the skillet from heat and transfer the shrimp to a serving platter.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, increase the amount of Sriracha to taste.
- Serve the shrimp over rice or quinoa for a complete meal, or toss them into a salad for a lighter option.
