- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce

- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/4 cup sesame seeds

- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and set aside.

- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour the honey-soy mixture over the chicken in the skillet. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly. Cook for another 3-5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken and stir to combine.
- Serve the honey sesame chicken over cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- To make it a complete meal, toss in some steamed broccoli or snap peas during the last few minutes of cooking.
