Crock Pot Angel Chicken is a creamy and delicious dish made with tender chicken breasts, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and ranch dressing mix, topped with melted cheddar cheese.

- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crock Pot. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, and ranch dressing mix. Stir until well blended.
- Pour the cream mixture over the chicken in the Crock Pot. If using, add the sliced mushrooms on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and cover again to allow the cheese to melt.
- Once done, shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

- For a healthier option, substitute the cream of chicken soup with a low-fat version or make your own from scratch.
- Serve the angel chicken over rice, pasta, or a bed of steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
