- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian-style)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup olive oil (for frying)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. In another dish, beat the eggs. In a third dish, mix breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking sheet and keep warm in the oven while you prepare the sauce.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and drizzle the garlic sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the garlic sauce.
- Substitute chicken breasts with chicken thighs for a juicier option.
