Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • Pickles, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center.
  4. Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  5. Flip the patties, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  7. To assemble, spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each bun.
  8. Place the cooked burger patty on top, followed by shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Crack Burgers!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding crispy bacon on top of the burger.
  • Mix some chopped jalapeños into the beef mixture for a spicy kick.
  • Swap out the cheddar cheese for your favorite cheese variety, such as pepper jack or blue cheese.
