Description
Delicious chicken fritters served with a creamy garlic aioli dip.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup olive oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Using a spoon or your hands, form the chicken mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Carefully place the patties in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- While the fritters are cooking, prepare the garlic aioli dip by whisking together the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
- Serve the chicken fritters warm with the garlic aioli dip on the side.
Notes
- For added flavor, try mixing in some chopped green onions or diced bell peppers into the chicken mixture.
- If you prefer a spicier dip, add a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper to the garlic aioli.
