  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  5. Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Transfer to a greased baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle garlic powder evenly over the dough, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough into strips, but do not cut all the way through.
  8. Brush the melted butter over the top and sprinkle with dried parsley.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
