Description

Delicious and easy-to-make cheeseburger sliders that are perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • Pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  3. Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a small patty, slightly larger than the slider buns.
  4. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
  5. While the patties are cooking, prepare the slider buns. Cut the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  6. Once the cheese has melted, place each patty on the bottom half of the slider buns. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the top halves of the buns, then place them on top of the patties.
  7. Bake the assembled sliders in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the buns are lightly toasted.
  8. Remove from the oven and add shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños to the sliders before baking.
  • You can substitute the cheddar cheese with pepper jack for an extra layer of flavor.
