- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, place the beaten egg.
- Dip each salmon piece into the egg, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Arrange the coated salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the salmon is cooking, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl to create the bang bang sauce.
- Once cooked, remove the salmon bites from the air fryer and drizzle with the bang bang sauce. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra crunch, try adding crushed nuts to the breadcrumb mixture.
- For a spicy kick, increase the amount of sriracha in the bang bang sauce or add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.
