Description
Celebrate the 4th of July with these festive brownies, packed with white chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup red and blue sprinkles (or colored sugar)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Stir until well blended.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips and half of the red and blue sprinkles.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining red and blue sprinkles on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a teaspoon of espresso powder to the batter.
- You can substitute the white chocolate chips with dark chocolate chips for a different taste.
